Fix the rust once, the right way
Rust is the number one thing that kills classic Mustangs, and it usually hides where you cannot see it: under the carpet, inside the frame rails, behind the quarter panels. We find all of it, cut out the bad metal, and weld in correct steel so the car is solid again and stays that way.
Correct steel, welded in
Reproduction sheet metal exists for nearly every panel on a first-generation Mustang, from full floor pans and torque boxes to quarters, cowls, and trunk floors. We use correct-gauge steel and weld it in properly, then metal-finish the repair so the body is straight before a drop of paint or filler goes on.
The cause matters as much as the damage. If a plugged cowl drain or a bad seal let the water in, we fix that too, so you are not back here in two years.
An honest look first
Before we quote anything, we put the car on the lift and show you what is actually there. Sometimes it is less than you feared. Sometimes a car with structural rust in every corner is better served by a full restoration than a patch-by-patch repair. Either way, you get the truth and a clear number, not a surprise halfway through.
